Dargah é Ala-Hazrat

Dargah-e-Ala Hazrat is Dargah (tomb) of Ahmed Raza Khan (1856–1921), a 19th-century Hanafi jurist, who is known for his staunch opposition of Wahhabis in India. The Dargah is in Bareilly, a city in Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The dome of the Dargah was designed by Hazrat Allama Shah Mehmood Jaan Qadri with the use of matchsticks

The Dargah is a spiritual center for the Sunni Muslims of South Asia.[citation needed] Annual observation of Urs is held at the Dargah. People from every corner of earth visit for the Use-e-Rizvi.

In 2014 during the observation of death anniversary of Ahmed Raza Khan (Urs-e-Razwi) at the Dargah-e-Ala Hazrat, Muslim clerics condemned the terrorism practiced by the Taliban and the ideology of the Wahhabi sect.

Chunne Miyan’s Lakshmi Narayan Temple

Chunne Miyan’s Lakshmi Narayan Temple is located in Koharapeer in the Katra Maanrai region and belonged to the Hindu migrants from Pakistan settled in Bareilly during 1947. These migrants started to build this temple but the land belonged to Fazal-ul-Rahman who was popularly known as ‘Chunne Miyan.’

He filed a case against them but ultimately gave to it when he was impressed on hearing the sermons of HarMilapi ji Maharaj of Haridwar. He also supported the cause with financial aid and from that day onwards the temple is known as Chunne Miyan’s Mandir.

Jagannath Temple

The Jagannath Temple is dedicated to Shiva and is located in Lala Champak Rai Ki Bagia, close to the Alakhnath Temple.

This temple is right in front of the Ganga Temple. It is believed that the temple is around 200 years old.

Tulsi Math

The Tulsi Math is located very close to the Alakhnath Temple. It is believed to be the home of Tulsidas, the famous author of Ramcharitmanas during 1600 CE. Tulsidas is often believed to be the re-incarnation of Valmiki who wrote Ramayana.

Trivati Nath Temple

This temple is situated in the central part of the town on the Macnair Road.
According to myth Lord Shiva – Trivati Nath foretold his first appearance under the three Banyan trees in dense panchal area in the dream of a shepherd. On awakening shepherd found a beautiful Shiv Lingam near the roots of three Banyan trees.

This way according to Hindu calendar Vikram Samvat 1474 is the Emerging(Prakatya) year of Baba Trivati Nath ji Bhagwan in the form of a natural Shiv. This place gradually became the center of worship.

Alakhnath Temple

The Alakhnath Temple is the main centre of Naga Sanyasins belonging to the Anand Akhara order. The Naga Sannyasins are separate group of Shiva devotees. The temple has many shrines devoted to different gods and goddesses.

There is a courtyard at the centre and various animals like cows and goats can be found here. Behind one building, tourists may also find a camel.

The place is all the time full of devotees making offerings and singing bhajans. Alakhnath Temple is one of the four Nath (Shiva) temples located in four corners of the city of Bareilly.

Fun City

The Fun City of Bareilly is often termed as the best amusement park in the whole of Northern India.
